Terms and refunds

These terms apply when you buy access to a project on BTO Lens, sold by BTO Lens.

What you buy

One payment gives one person access to one project’s interactive picker for the number of days shown at checkout (normally 180, about 6 months), starting when the payment goes through. Access can't be extended; once it ends you can buy it again. Nothing renews or charges you again.

Your account

Your account is your email address. Please keep access to yourself: do not share sign-in codes, copy the data out, or resell it. We may end access that is shared or scraped, without a refund.

What the picker is, and is not

BTO Lens is an independent research tool. It is not made by, or connected with, the Housing & Development Board. Sun hours, views, noise, walking times, prices, and feng shui are estimates from models, HDB’s published plans and public data. They can be wrong. Check HDB’s official brochure, the sales model and the site itself before you book a flat. We are not responsible for the choice you make.

The 3D model, including the walk-through, is our own approximation built from the unit layouts HDB publishes and from public map data. It is meant to help you picture a unit and think your choice through, not to tell you which unit to pick. It is not an exact scale drawing and must not be used to measure for renovation, furniture or anything else that needs exact sizes. The finished building can differ from it: storey and ceiling heights, the size and position of windows and doors, finishes, landscaping, and buildings and roads built around the estate later. Nothing in it is a promise about the flat you will receive.

Refunds

If the picker does not work properly on your device, ask for a refund within 7 days of paying and we will give your money back in full. Once refunded, access ends. Outside of that, payments are not refundable once the project has been opened, because the content is delivered in full straight away.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Changes

We may fix or improve a project’s data while your access is open. If we change these terms, the version shown when you paid applies to that payment.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
